Shailene Diann Woodley was born on November 15, 1991, is an American actress, producer and activist. Raised in Simi Valley, California, Shailene Woodley began modeling at the age of four and began to play professionally in minor television roles. She first gained prominence for her lead role as Amy Juergens in the ABC family drama series The Secret Life of the American Teenager

Woodley made his film debut in Alexander Payne’s dramatic comedy The Descendants (2011) and then starred in the mature film The Spectacular Now (2013). For the first, she received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for best supporting actress – Motion Picture and the second won her a special jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival. She got wider recognition for her lead role as a teenage cancer patient in the romantic drama The Fault in Our Stars (2014)

In addition to acting, Woodley is an environmental activist and was a member of the board of directors of Our Revolution.

Shailene Diann Woodley was born in San Bernardino County, California on November 15, 1991, but raised in Simi Valley, California. Her mother, Lori, is a school trustee and her father, Lonnie Woodley, is a school principal. She also has a younger brother.

At the age of fifteen, she was diagnosed with scoliosis and put in a plastic brace from the chest to the hips to prevent her spine from bending further. Woodley attended Simi Valley High School and modeled at the age of four. She also took acting lessons with Anthony Meindl.

In 2018, Woodley confirmed she was dating Australian-Fijian rugby player Ben Volavola. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she said, “I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not what they do or what sex they are.” In April 2020, the relationship with Volavola is said to have ended.

Woodley has reportedly been in a relationship with NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers since 2020. In February 2021, Rodgers referred to his “fiancée” during his acceptance speech for the League MVP award at the NFL ceremony. Honors, confirming he was engaged, but not to whom. Woodley confirmed she was engaged to Rodgers during a Feb. 22 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
